Help our Next Gen Leaders Fund World-Changing NABU Books!

NABU’s mission is to solve the global literacy crisis so that every child can read and rise to their full potential. As a leading publisher of multilingual children’s books, NABU uses technology to accelerate children’s literacy through a love of reading in their mother tongue.

In April 2020 we launched the Next Gen Leadership Fund to safeguard free access to children’s books in Rwanda, by fundraising, building community, learning together, and developing a plan for sustainable growth of the Rwanda program. 10 incredible young professionals joined the Next Generation Leaders Fund to provide a sustainable pipeline of $25,000 in funding and strategic support for NABU’s work in Rwanda.

Did you know that in Rwanda a child has access to an average of 0.3 books?

Today, 5 of our Incredible Next Gen Leaders are supporting our efforts to change this statistic by raising the funds required to train local authors and illustrators to create engaging mother tongue reading books!

The completed books will be published for free on the #NABUORG reading app which is the fastest-growing application in Rwanda and is reaching more than 95,000 children and their families every day.

Even the smallest amount makes a difference in allowing all children to read and rise to their full potential!
