MY BACK TO SCHOOL BUBBLE
As the world recovers from the effects of COVID-19 and begins to reopen many of us are attempting to adjust to a new normal. The story of My Back to School Bubble aims to use the power of diverse storytelling to reinforce public health messages including the importance of hand and respiratory hygiene while reassuring children that everyone makes mistakes, helping to combat feelings of anxiety that have been reported by parents. The e-book has been created with input from a network of teachers, parents and public health professionals and aims to help children understand the new protective measures that may be in place at their school relate to these feelings and new steps we all take to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This e-book was created in partnership with e-Bug, a free Public Health England educational resource for classroom and home use, and makes learning about micro-organisms, the spread, prevention, and treatment of infection fun and accessible for all teachers and students. NABU hopes the power of these diverse storybooks will share vital information that could save lives and remember that we are in this together. We are not alone!
